Maeve

EVE Online character companion — iOS & Android

Deleting Your Data

Last updated 5 September 2026

Maeve has no account of its own, so there is nothing to close — you sign in with your existing EVE Online account through CCP's single sign-on, and every piece of data Maeve holds sits on your own device. Removing it is entirely in your hands, and takes seconds.

There is no Maeve server. The developer holds no copy of your data, so there is no remote record for anyone to delete on your behalf. The steps below remove everything that exists.

Delete one character

Remove the character in the app. Its stored EVE sign-in tokens are deleted from your device immediately, and any cached data for that character goes with it. Your other characters are untouched.

Delete everything

Uninstall Maeve. Both iOS and Android delete the app's private storage area when the app is removed, which erases every file Maeve created:

Reinstalling gives you an empty app and a fresh sign-in. Nothing is restored, because nothing was stored anywhere else — Maeve's files are excluded from cloud backup and device-to-device transfer.

Revoke Maeve's access at CCP

Uninstalling removes the tokens from your phone, but you can also revoke the authorization at the source. Visit EVE Online's third-party application management page and revoke Maeve. Any token still on a device stops working immediately, and the app can no longer read anything from your account until you sign in again and re-approve it.

This is the complete removal: revoke at CCP, then uninstall the app.

Data held by CCP

Your EVE Online account, your characters, and their skills and assets belong to your account with CCP hf. and exist independently of Maeve. Deleting Maeve does not delete them, and Maeve's developer cannot act on them. Requests about your EVE account itself go to EVE Online Support.

Written confirmation

If you would like it in writing that no copy of your data is held, ask and you will get it: dev.maeveapp@gmail.com. Requests under the GDPR, the CCPA, or any comparable law are answered at the same address. The full detail of what Maeve reads and where it goes is in the privacy policy.
